2 ECMA Nominations for In Sonorous Falling Tones

In Sonorous Falling Tones has been nominated for two East Coast Music Awards!

Congratulations to everyone on the album, including: Mark Hopkins, conductor; Derek Charke, flutes; Eileen Walsh, clarinets; Gillian Smith, violin; Susan Sayle, viola; Norman Adams, cello; Max Kasper, bass; Simon Docking, piano; Mark Adam and Naoko Tsujita, percussion. The CD was produced by John D.S. Adams of Stonehouse Sound for the Centrediscs Label (Toronto).

In Sonorous Falling Tones (CMCCD 23917), featuring the music of Associate Composer Derek Charke and the WIRED! Ensemble, has been nominated for Classical Recording of the Year. Derek Charke has also been nominated for Classical Composition of the Year for his titular piece 'In Sonorous Falling Tones'. To date, Centrediscs releases have received nine East Coast Music Awards and 18 nominations."
