Big Business is a piece for solo flute in 4 movements. No extended techniques are used. The work was written while living downtown Vancouver, the titles inspired by watching people come and go from the multitude of office buildings on Pender Street. This work was also inspired by the music of Michael Torke, Steve Martland and Louis Andriessen and is in a quasi-minimalist vein.
